The story of Don Sherwood and Dan Flagg as the inspiration for the classic Warren story, Success Story is pretty well known. Basically, you had an artist who farmed out the writing, penciling and inking chores to "ghosts", while signing his own name to the strip. But, I believe Sherwood did actually do this one. I think if you compare this one to the other one I listed, you'll see the obvious differences.... although it does have several nice scenes. Dan Flagg was a marine, and the story followed his exploits in the Viet Nam war and sometimes was involved with espionage... like this one. This daily is from December 3... not certain of the year since the indicia has fallen off. This is a large original, with an image area of 6.25 x 20" in a larger 8.25 x 21" piece of heavy bristol. There is some white-out to correct lettering, but nothing on the art. Nice images!
