This is page 18 from Darkstars 15 and the story "The Unkindest Cut Of All! ", with a cover date of December 1993. The art was written by Michael Jan Friedman with art by Christopher Taylor and Ken Branch. The Darkstars were a group of inter-galactic policeman created by the controllers as their original answer to the Green Lanterns with powerful armor and intensive training. Their leader was a veteran named Ferrin Colos, who survived an attack on his home planet and vowed vengeance on the raiders so no other world would suffer. Over time, his enthusiasm faded and a hard cynicism invaded. Now, feeling old and tired, Colos does not care survives his next mission. This page shows a fight scene between Ferrin Colos and the evil Annihilator 171 [John Flint]! Art is done ink over pencils, with an image area of 10 x 16" on standard DC 11 x 17" comic art paper.
