The Blondie Sunday strips begin in April, 1931 and include Blondie & Dagwood’s first dinner party (the future catering entrepreneur doesn’t know how to cook yet), the Bumsteads just getting to know their new neighbors the Woodleys during an automobile ride in the country, precocious Baby Dumpling wreaking havoc, Dagwood sleeping in late and the usual Bumstead hijinks.
