Matt Kennedy's Comic Art Shop

Pop Sequentialism was the first fine art survey exhibition of original comic book art of the modern age, established in May 2011 by curator Matt Kennedy with the publication of a catalog in the classic 80 Page Giant format by La Luz de Jesus Gallery and Last Gasp Books. All the pages featured in that catalog have the added provenance of inclusion in an academic publication, and that includes many of the pages we have listed for sale here on Comic Art Fans. That first exhibition has spawned a traveling, curated art show in which important original art works that exemplify the landmark series and quintessential collaborations that have crossed beyond comic book fandom into the Pop zeitgeist�changing the perceptions and preconceptions of the hobby, the format, and the culture.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR SALE:

We just went through the entire posted collection and DROPPED THE PRICES ON EVERYTHING in the Pop Sequentialism: Art For Sale gallery. So the new prices are on the listings already. I am willing to discuss payment plans, too �but act fats because we will be raising the prices back to where they should be at the end of the year.

If there is no price listed (or an "Inquire" prompt), you are encouraged to make an offer.

We are very rarely willing to trade, and definitely not looking to trade down. If you have something that is legitimately more valuable by at least 50%, we might consider a trade of the quality is comparable. We are probably not willing to trade an iconic splash page in great condition for a panel page in rough condition �even if it is technically more valuable. A lot of time, expense and effort went into assembling this collection of iconic splash pages, first appearances, origin pages, etc. and most of what we offer for sale comes from Award-winning runs that have been reprinted in Omnibus collections. Most of the pages in this collection were featured in the Pop Sequentialism book mentioned above and that gives them added provenance.
