Some praise this 2005 12 issue series as the best modern Spider-Man story ever written. Mark Millar's story telling is top notch and this page is from one of his best, Marvel Knights Spider-Man. Terry Dodson's unique style compliments the fast paced story perfectly and this splash from issue #9 features one of the best flash back cameos of the series. Every Spider-Man fan remembers the first time they read Amazing Spider-Man #121 and the heartbreaking visuals of Spider-Man's first love falling to her death. This full page splash captures the re-telling in a historic moment featuring an emotionally destroyed Spider-Man holding the lifeless body of his true love, Gwen Stacy. This has to be one of the very best pieces from the entire series, making this a rare opportunity for a collector to acquire an original page depicting a truly classic moment in Spider-man history, a moment that changed Marvel continuity forever. The art has an image area of approximately 10 x 15 inches and is signed by the artist at the lower right. Excellent condition. Authenticity guaranteed for life by Collector's Shangri-La.
